How to play
Tic Tac Feet is Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe: a 3×3 grid of nine ordinary tic-tac-toe boards. The nine little boards plus the big board they form are the ten games you're juggling at once.
The goal
Win a small board by getting three in a row inside it — that captures its square on the big board. Capture three squares in a row on the big board and you win the whole game.
The Send — the one rule that changes everything
The square you play inside a small board decides which small board your opponent must play in next.
Here X played the center square of the center board, so O is sent to the center board (highlighted). Play on and watch each move hand the next board to the other player.
- Capture: three in a row in a small board claims that big square.
- Free move: if you're sent to a board that's already won or completely full, you may play in any open board.
- Dead board: a small board that fills with no winner counts for nobody.
- Opening: the first player (X) may play anywhere.
Winning
The big board is scored exactly like tic-tac-toe, where each square is a captured small board. Three captured squares in a row — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — wins. If every board is decided with no line, the game is a draw.
