to move — free choice of board.

Why “Tic Tac Feet”? Every game is ten boards at once — the nine little tic-tac-toe boards, plus the big board they add up to. Ten boards, ten toes, two feet. You’ll also see it called Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe or Meta Tic-Tac-Toe.

What makes it devious

You steer your opponent

The square you play decides which board your rival is forced into next. Hand them a dead end — or walk them into a trap. This one rule changes everything.

Losing can be winning

Capture a small board and you might gift your rival a free move anywhere. Sometimes the sharpest play is to throw the battle to win the war.

A game inside a game

You’re playing nine little boards and the big board they form — at once. Win a small board to claim its square; line up three squares to take it all.
